We are pleased and proud to present the MFE Tech-Gum operation, co-financed by the (EU) European Cohesion Policy and the Republic of Slovenia (more information is available on the website of European Cohesion Policy in Slovenia: http://www.eu-skladi.si/).

The purpose of the operation is to increase the share of renewable energy sources in the company’s final energy consumption. With this investment, we pursue the goal of energy self-sufficiency and independence, i.e., reducing energy consumption, protecting the environment, and introducing or increasing renewable energy sources.

With the financial support of the European Union from the Cohesion Fund amounting to 20% of the investment value, we realized the installation of a new small photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the business-production facility in Slovenska Bistrica. Our goal is to achieve 0.1166 MW of additional installed power for electricity production through installed solar panels. At the same time, we aim to reach a 14% share of self-sufficiency in electricity for the company and reduce CO2 emissions by 56.84 tons annually, for at least two consecutive years after commissioning the photovoltaic power plant. The nominal power of the installed solar power plant, with which we collaborated with SunContract, is 116.64 kWp.
